1. Name and pronoun?
My name is Martina, but some friends call me Tina or Toke. I use she/her/they pronouns.
2. Favourite song to skate to?
Music is joy, I can’t stick to one! Depending on what i’m working on or expressing, there are so many emotions I feel while skating. So, different music feels right in different situations… But, some favorite songs of mine right now are Be Mine Tonight by Breakbot, Toast by Koffee, Medallion by Jenevieve, What Goes Around Comes Around by Lenny Kravitz, Shakedown Street by Grateful Dead, Left Hand by Joey Bada$$

3. What empowers you?
Being self aware, continuously learning and resolving curiosity, and overcoming fear empower me. I try to stay organized, meet goals, and support the communities I’m a part of! (and of course roller skating! ;))
4. Biggest struggle for women and or gender fluid?
Tough question because everyone lives with different circumstances, but overall everyone deserves to feel safe and secure.
5. How has skating impacted your life?
Skating has lit up my life, I am eternally grateful for it. It represents so many things to me and has introduced me to some pretty rad people. It’s a therapy and a natural high all in one. If I’m not on my skates, 9 times out of 10 I’m still watching clips, researching, or doing something skate related.
6. What do you want people to be aware of?
The necessity to be open minded and embrace differences. Love is law.
