What empowers you?
I think with being a mom to 2 kids you kind of get wrapped up in them & you forget to focus on yourself. Since skating I’ve found a part of myself again.
Biggest struggle for women and non-binary?
Probaby comparing ourselves to one another. Especially on social media.. We’re all unique & beautiful. 🖤
How has skating impacted your life?
I have always struggled with being shy & insecure. I would never go out of my way to try to talk to someone in fear of them not liking me. Since roller skating I’ve found a confidence in myself.. I can now meet up with new friends & go to skate meets without being scared. Forever happy I picked up the hobby.
What do you want people to be aware of?
Be kind! Something so little can be something so big in somebody else’s life. Kindness goes a long way. 🖤
